Meet Dr. Miranda
Dr. Christina Miranda has spent over 15 years helping adults with neurological conditions regain function, confidence, and independence. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Boston University in 2009 and began her career at Braintree Rehabilitation Hospital, treating patients on the inpatient stroke and movement disorders service.
In 2012, she became a board-certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS), a credential held by fewer than 200 physical therapists in the state of New Jersey, recognizing advanced clinical expertise in neurologic care. She went on to work in outpatient neurologic and vestibular rehabilitation at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, and completed the APTA Vestibular Competency Course at Emory University in 2015. She also published peer-reviewed research on Parkinson's disease rehabilitation in conjunction with faculty at Boston University.
In 2017, Christina returned to her home state of New Jersey to join Atlantic Rehabilitation, where she helped build their outpatient neurologic rehabilitation program from the ground up. Today, with NeuroFit Physical Therapy and Wellness LLC, she brings that same depth of expertise directly to patients' homes. Christina is passionate about helping people push themselves to become stronger and more independent, even in the face of complex medical challenges. She loves staying current on emerging research, tackling complex and challenging cases, and thinking outside the box to help her patients live fuller, more capable lives.
